These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all services offered by Si Catering, including but not limited to catering for events, home delivery of paella, discovery and tasting of paella, as well as paella courses. By booking our services, you agree to the terms and conditions detailed below.
Booking and Confirmation
- Catering services: Reservations for our catering services must be made by phone. A detailed proposal and a quotation will be sent by email for acceptance. The reservation is considered confirmed upon receipt of written acceptance of the quotation and compliance with the payment conditions set out in the invoices.
- Home Paella: This service can be booked via WhatsApp. Specific order details, including recipe selection, date, time, and delivery address will be confirmed upon reservation.
- Paella Discovery & Tasting and Paella Courses: Bookings can be made up to 6 hours prior to the event via our online booking platform, with full payment required to confirm the reservation.
Payment
- Catering services: A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of the reservation, with the balance due in accordance with the terms of the invoice sent.
- Other Services: Full payment is required at time of booking to confirm.
Cancellation and Modification
- A specific cancellation policy applies to each service, as detailed in the “Cancellation Policy” section below. Change requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
Cancellation & modification policy for “Paella Experience” & “Paella Course” services
At Si Catering, we understand that plans can change and that flexibility is important for our customers. To meet your needs while ensuring smooth operation, we have established the following cancellation policy:
Cancellations and Booking Changes
- Free cancellation: You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled time of the event or delivery.
- Late Cancellation Fees: For cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the event or delivery, a fee equivalent to 40% of the total reservation amount will be charged.
- Changes: If you need to change the date, time, or details of your reservation, we ask that you do so at least 48 hours in advance. Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional costs if service requirements change.
- Group bookings: For group bookings, please contact us at least one week in advance for cancellations or significant changes in order to avoid any charges.
Special Circumstances
We understand that sometimes exceptional circumstances beyond your control can affect your plans. In such cases, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible to discuss potential adjustments to your reservation. We will do our best to meet your needs and minimize cancellation fees, subject to proof of circumstances.
Cancellation or Modification Process
To cancel or change your reservation, please contact us directly via the phone number or email provided on our website. Include your booking reference and details of the change or cancellation request. Our team will confirm receipt of your request and inform you of any applicable fees or adjustments.
No-Show Policy
Failure to show up for your reservation without first cancelling or making changes will result in a no-show fee of 100% of the reservation amount.
“Paella Experience” & “Paella Course” Booking Policy
Thank you for choosing Si Catering for your event. In order to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience, we have detailed our reservation policy below. Please read these terms carefully as they are designed to ensure the best service for your special occasion.
Booking process
- Booking confirmation: Your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of your reservation details and the successful processing of your payment.
- Advance booking: We recommend booking your event or delivery at least one week in advance to secure your preferred date and time. For bookings made less than 48 hours prior to the event, please contact us directly to check availability.
- Minimum Group Size: For some services, such as paella delivery, a minimum number of participants may be required (for example, 8 people). Please refer to specific service details for more information.
Payment
- Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total reservation amount is required at the time of booking for events. The remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to the date of the event.
- Online payments: Payments can be made securely through our online reservation system. We accept major credit cards and other digital payment methods.
- Received: A confirmation of your reservation and payment will be sent to you by email address. Please check it carefully and let us know immediately if there are any discrepancies.
Changes and Special Requests
- Changes: If you need to change any details of your reservation (for example, date, time, menu options), please let us know at least 48 hours in advance. All changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Special Dietary Needs: We strive to meet special dietary needs and preferences. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
Confidentiality and Security
- Personal Information: We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us during the booking process. Your details will only be used to process your reservation and communicate with you regarding your event.
- Safety: Our online reservation and payment system is secured with the latest encryption technology to ensure the safety of your financial information.
Cancellation by Si Catering
- In the unlikely event that we should cancel your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, we will let you know as soon as possible and offer you a full refund or an alternative date for your event, whichever you prefer.

Confidentiality and Security
- Si Catering is committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of its customers' personal information. The data collected is used exclusively for the processing of reservations and communication with customers.
Cancellation by Si Catering
- In the unlikely event that Si Catering has to cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, the customer will be notified as soon as possible and will have the choice between a full refund or a rescheduling of the event.
Responsibility
- Si Catering is committed to providing high quality services. However, Si Catering's liability will be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the service in question.
Various
- Force Majeure: Si Catering will not be held liable for any non-performance or delay in the performance of its obligations caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
- Applicable law: These GTC are governed by the law of the country where Si Catering is based, and any dispute relating to these GTC will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of that country.
